For quite sometime now, I haven’t had but a minute to myself where I was doing something remotely productive. I know, sitting and reading a book over coffee doesn’t quite count as “productive”. However, I do believe it’s more educating than watching tv or sleeping all day, which I have done one too many times. It’s nice sleeping, you can’t blame me for refusing to leave my comfy bed. Or simply returning to it after taking my boyfriend to work.
It welcomes me with taunting dreams, and heavy eyes. Fortunately enough, today I didn’t listen to the pleas of my pillows. Although, part of that reasoning might be because I have yet to return home. But I’ll take it in a more positive note. I’m simply looking beyond tired eyes. I want to see the town I love so dearly. I want to look more than as if I just woke up. I want to read, because God knows I cannot seem to keep the pages turning lately.
So here I am. Reading a book that was a gift to me from my dear college friend. I’m now reading, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. So far it is quite interesting. However, that is coming from only page 15 of 415. So I’d not yet take my word on that.
Anyways, thank you for the slightest moment of your time. I appreciate your attention.
Till next time.
