Fear is as natural as the air you breathe, and how you breathe it. Unfortunately, one of my main fears have surfaced. It’s a rather different story, when you face fear “head on”. And I don’t believe I have the courage to overcome it. 

Now, when I say “overcome”,it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a harmful obstacle that I can find a way around, because there is no way around a situation. Especially not this specific situation.

My number one enemy as of late, is time. It’s taking too long to find out, yet there’s not enough time to prepare. It’s a constant battle of impatience and curiosity. And it’s driving me up the wall. Plus the stress? I can’t even think straight most days. 

It’s so scary…. Just to think that because of one mistake, you could harm the people around, yourself, and your future. Because you slipped up. Because you were selfish. And an idiot. 

I guess this is how the story goes. You must reap what you have sown. And bear the consequences of your actions. So it’s time to muster up every ounce of courage I might have left. Because the good Lord knows I need it.
