An Amateur’s Dream

IMG_3868

I’ve picked up my photography sessions, for free of course. I’m not yet good enough, in my mind, to ask for payment. My models have been my guinea pigs in order to find out what style I’m best at, and different angles. They’ve been so great too, I can’t believe they allowed me to use them, even in the rain, water fall, and using paint. I’ve gotten a lot of ideas from Pinterest and Instagram on what to do. I’m learning how to tell my models what to do, (I still think candid pictures are the best). I’m learning different editing techniques. I even had a conversation with a professional, who is my own age or maybe younger or older, I’m not entirely sure. But she specifically uses child models. Baby Broadway stars. Yeah, I’m jealous too. But seeing her success inspired me. SO, I’m going to save up enough money to start up my very own photography business. I, of course, suck at business, but I’ll learn. There is so much out there that I don’t know, but I’m excited discover it all.

If you by any chance have an idea, or some good advice or criticism, let me know! I’m trying to get better, that doesn’t happen with sugar coating.  Trust me, I encourage new outlooks.
