Life Update

Hello, you beautiful people!

The pattern has been very clear for however long I’ve had this blog. And the pattern is, I am very inconsistent. But that’s perfectly fine for me. Not necessarily great for any kind of algorithm, but this way I can write when I want to and it’s genuine and not stressed. I prefer the inconsistency at the moment. Regardless, I appreciate every reader I come across that interacts with my posts. Y’all are amazing people.

So let’s get started!

Since June (I know, I know! This has been a crazy year), I have graduated from Texas State University, started attending therapy sessions after finding affordable help, and I applied to graduate school. I told you, it has been craaaazy. But everything is now starting to mellow out, being graduated and all. I’m excited to wait to hear from graduate school. Regardless, I get a pretty large break from school (approximately eight months). During this time, I will probably lose my mind because instead of working AND going to school, I will need to only focus one of those. I already think that I’m not ready for the transition. Logically, I know I definitely deserve a break from all of the stress, but taking the break will be complicated.

I am so used to things happening back-to-back. I had assignments after my shift and studying to consider. Now, I have nothing to study. So, this transition time is going to be interesting. Who knows, I may actually begin reading all of those books I want to but haven’t. I may begin a regular exercise routine (I’m not counting on that), or I may binge watch Chinese and Korean dramas until I magically find a new hobby. There’s just so much that I could do. And nothing that I have to do.

Friends, how do you decide on what to do during your relaxed days or times? Any inspiration at this point would be magnificent. Also, if anyone has personally felt this way during a big life transition, how did you handle it?

I’m excited to see what everyone says. I am also a photographer and a writer so I do have “hobbies”, but I feel like those require more inspiration to create something beautiful. I’m definitely leaving them on the list of things I could do to occupy my time, but I’m open to new suggestions.

Anyways, thank you for reading today.

Till next time.
