Hello friends! I’m so glad you’re here!
My name is Megan (you can call me Megs) my pronouns are she/her. I’m a full time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and part time writer and photographer.
I am a writer. I am only published (as of now) on this wonderful blog, but I have big plans. I write poetry. It has been the most consistent language and resource that has helped me to process some big emotions throughout my childhood and into adulthood.
I am a mental health advocate. I share a lot of resources on my social media platforms. I love talking about the deeper topics (i.e. trauma, healing, CPTSD, Anxiety, inner child, depression, ADHD). I love talking about them from my own experience and sharing helpful tips and resources with others. I am a late diagnosed generalized anxiety disorder and ADHD and a first generation to get an associates, bachelors, and masters. We have gone through the deconstruction of the religion we were raised in, realized we were late (L)GBTQ bloomers, and discovered the amazing support in consistently going to therapy. A lot of my poems are focused around these spaces that I am now allowed to fill as an independent individual.
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). I love connecting with the clients and their families that I serve. I love teaching applied behavior analysis to the technicians/therapists that work one-on-one with the clients. I am a new BCBA, eager to learn, and passionate about providing quality care.
I hope this gives a great explanation for the posts on my page. They may seem random and sporadic, intense and emotional, or goofy and whimsical. It really just depends on the day. If you’re ready to ride this wave with me, then buckle up buttercup. We’ve got a story to tell.
